Job Description:
StaffFlex contract – 13weeks
$57.75/hr + diff
Mon – Thur: 7a-5:30p, or
Thur – Sat: 7a – 7:30p (but, can be flexible)
Must have: Breast Registry
Preferred: Epic experience
American Heart Association BLS, need before hire
- Supports departmental workflow by adapting to schedule changes and assisting with patient throughput as needed.
- Performs ultrasound imaging procedures of abdominal, pelvic, OB, transvaginal, small parts, breast, vascular, and Doppler studies as applicable to facility capabilities.
- Positions patients and equipment, adjusts transducers and technical settings to capture optimal diagnostic images, waveforms, and heart rates.
- Notes velocities, measures anatomical structures, and documents relevant clinical history to support accurate radiologist interpretation.
- Coordinates equipment servicing and preventive maintenance while ensuring proper sterilization of transducers.
- Conducts vascular and Doppler studies with precision to support diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making.
- Applies knowledge of anatomy and pathology to differentiate normal from abnormal findings during imaging procedures.
- Collaborates with radiologists and clinical teams to clarify imaging needs and ensure appropriate study completion.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of procedures, findings, and patient interactions in accordance with clinical standards.
- Adheres to safety protocols and infection control practices during all imaging procedures.
- Assists in training and mentoring new staff or students in ultrasound techniques and departmental procedures.
- Participates in quality assurance activities to improve imaging outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
