Job Description:

Responsible for performing a wide range of supportive duties to assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications. This position packs medications, manifests postage, manages supply storage, and coordinates with couriers. Additionally, this role works only under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and adheres to legal restrictions regarding duties that can only be performed by a registered pharmacist or registered pharmacy technician. In addition, this position ensures that patients receive consistent care through accurate and efficient handling of medications. Responsibilities for this role include maintaining organized supply storage, ensuring timely dispatch of medications, and collaborating with couriers for delivery.

• Completes USPS, SmartPost, and FedEx processes for proper shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Troubleshoots FedEx Cafe to resolve any issues related to shipping and delivery.
• Confirms shipping manifests to ensure all packages are accounted for and have been picked up by the appropriate courier.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Accuracy and attention to detail for long periods of time; excellent organization skills. [Required]• Ability to interpret prescription and knowledge of the generic names of medications and medical terminology; vast understanding of mathematical principles to perform pharmaceutical calculations. [Required]• Ability to critically think through situations with good problem solving skills [Required]• Good customer service skills and values teamwork. [Required]• Must be able to multitask and be flexible in moving from task to task within the department while maintaining composure and staying organized. [Required]• Basic proficiency skill set in MS Office: Word and Outlook. [Required]• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel. [Preferred]

Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:
• 1+ year of shipping/receiving experience in a production or manufacturing setting [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$15.69 – $25.10
