Job Description:
- This position coordinates select community partnerships and outreach efforts, including community food/toy drives and volunteer opportunities for hospital staff.
- Additionally, this role oversees the planning, development, and management of activities, budgets, policies, and procedures to ensure effective utilization of resources and maintain high-quality guest experiences.
- In addition, this position manages the recruitment, orientation, coordination, and recognition of all volunteers, ensuring cooperation between volunteers and hospital staff.
- Additionally, this role oversees all onsite retail stores, develops plans to achieve revenue targets, manages merchandising, and trains and supervises staff and volunteers.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements and promoting collaboration through open communication with employees, patients, physicians, visitors, and other personnel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all guests and members of the healthcare team and help facilitate Hospital objectives. [Required]
- Effective communication (written/verbal), presentation and negotiation skills to effectively present information in a clear and concise manner and engage teams to achieve desired results. [Required]
- Highly customer and team oriented to support service excellence. [Required]
- Solid critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills. [Required]
- Highly detail and process oriented with effective planning, analysis and budgeting skills. [Required]
- Ability to work with computerized information systems. [Required]
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, integrity and diplomacy. [Required]
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and regulatory requirements [Required]
Education:
- Associate [Required]
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- in Business or related discipline
- in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
Work Experience:
- 1+ year experience working with volunteers in an unpaid position, preferably in a supervisory/team leader capacity. [Required]
- 3+ years of relevant and progressive management experience in retail management [Required]
