Job Description:
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 4pm – 12:30am.
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, lounges, restrooms, and corridors in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Terminally cleans surgical rooms and operating rooms as assigned.
- Utilizes appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and maintains equipment properly.
- Manages policies and procedures related to specific units and ensures compliance with infection control practices, including handwashing techniques, standard precautions, and isolation precautions.
- Transports dirty linens, trash, and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areas and replenishes supplies as needed.
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv Preferred
Field of Study:
- Degree required for academic rank. (Professor = Doctoral; Associate = Masters; Assistant = Masters; Instructor = Bachelors).
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited academic institution.
- The degree must be in the assigned area of education or in an area that directly contributes to the work assignment.
Work Experience:
- 1+ related experience Preferred
Pay Range:
$14.28 – $22.85
