The role you'll contribute:

The Manager of Respiratory Therapy reports directly to the Director of Acute Care and has 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility for quality and safety of patient care/services, operational management, and people management for the areas within areas of responsibility. The Manager fosters the integration of the organization's vision and values, and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan by being supportive and accountable to all leadership competencies. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Manager collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, administration and all associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused and healing environment for inpatients and outpatients.

  • Oversees the day-to-day departmental operational and clinical activities.

  • Supervises staffs and gives technical direction, delegation of staff responsibilities.

  • Interprets and directs the implementation of respiratory programs, policies and procedures and assumes the responsibility for ensuring that the programs meet hospitals accreditation standards.

Qualifications

  • The expertise and experiences you'll need to succed

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy Required

  • 3 Related Experience Required

  • Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required and

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Required
