Texas Health Hospital Mansfield- operates as a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and AdventHealth.

Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support.

Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Womens Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you'll contribute:

Manages individualized, goaldirected nursing care through use of the nursing process in accordance with Cardiopulmonary departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

The value you'll bring to the team:

Develops, discusses, and communicates realistic individualized goals for each patient, in collaboration with each patient/family/significant other in order to address cardiac pulmonary needs.

Knowledgeable in the necessary skills and judgment to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient.

Evaluates the patients progress, care provided, and patients responses are reassessed in order to meet patient and family needs to assure overall quality of care delivered.

Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, to ensure quality care.

Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure, and pursues on-going professional growth and development.

Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the cardiac rehabilitation unit as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.

Performs other duties as assigned

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program.

1 year of experience as a RN

Current license or permit issued by the state of Texas to practice as a registered nurse or in a qualifying compact State.

BLS and ACLS Required

Nursing Leadership experience preferred
