The community you'll be caring for: Orlando Campus

· Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

· Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America

· AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country

· We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year

The role you'll contribute:

The Analyst II – Workforce Management will work in a collaborative and constructive team environment to evaluate and support the performance of our Region through Productivity, Benchmarking and Position Management Control processes and systems. This position is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, monitoring for trends, organizing information into coherent reports, aiding in root cause analysis of variances, reviewing for, and partnering to resolve data integrity issues timely and exercising independent judgement in recommending actionable solutions based on analysis of data, approved, and prioritized by management. Success requires an attention to detail along with the ability to work in a constructive, non-biased and collaborative manner, fostering positive work relationships with Finance, Human Resource and Operations Leadership and serving as a trusted resource for campus and system leadership in workforce management matters; interacting to provide relevant, accurate, and timely information to support our leader's ability to make informed decisions around the utilization of workforce resources in alignment with our patient and organizational needs.

  • Performs data analysis, trend monitoring and root cause analysis utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, QlikView and Operations Advisor.

  • Identifies and documents opportunities for performance improvement and assistance in developing and communicating actionable information at all levels of the organization.

  • Works effectively with numerical data and understands financial principles and concerns in the healthcare environment.

  • Focuses on process improvement strategies with special focus on financial outcomes in support of department and process initiatives.

  • Prepares executive level summary of results including action plans to resolve variances and improve performance.

  • Meets deadlines for established goals in an accurate, proactive, and efficient manner for all areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: · Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio· Ability to relate operational and financial performance in the healthcare environment.· Understanding of organizational data sets and data correlation· Working knowledge of healthcare reporting, standards development, costing methodologies, utilization measurements and financial modeling· Developing reports / presentations, performing data analytics with ability to identify root cause, and creating, and maintaining action plans and the ability to perform root cause assessment.· Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.

  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: · Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically around Data Aggregation, · Proficient in selected automation, Data Visualization and BI tools.· Mastery of Workforce Management processes and systems with a proven capacity to mentor and educate others on the subject. · Proactively design and develop reports/ presentations which assist with making it easy for customers.

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field· Two years of experience in Healthcare finance/accounting or a related field with specific emphasis on cost accounting, statistical analysis, budgeting, management decision making, reporting, or financial modeling OR · Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field is acceptable in lieu of bachelor's plus 2 years of experience

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: · Experience with Project Management, Process Improvement, Quality, Six Sigma or LEAN practices· Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps)· Excel VBA LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: · None· No Direct Patient Care
