The role you'll contribute:
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor may have direct reports and holds primary responsibility for overseeing the pharmacy automation systems, technician scheduling, technician PDO/sick coverage, and technician assignments. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy's technical and logistical functions, including patient billing and inventory management activities. The supervisor is also tasked with preparing and organizing pharmacy medications by name and dosage as listed on patient orders and supports pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services. Additionally, they are responsible for supervising the daily activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and accurate medication services and support all those involved in direct patient care. Facility-specific assignments may also encompass access to, but are not limited to, pharmacy charge data, CDM databases, wholesaler and purchase files, automated dispensing systems, pharmaceutical contracts, data files, as well as personnel and compensation data. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy's operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Applicable State Pharmacy Technician Registration (RPT) - Required Current certification from Nationally recognized Board/Association - Required Sterile Compounding Certification, if applicable per state legislation -Preferred

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
High School Grad or Equivalent Required
3 Of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience
PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician
Applicable State Pharmacy Technician Registration (RPT) -
Current certification from Nationally recognized Board/Association
