About the Area

AdventHealth for Children is in the center of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, FL Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), which had a population of 2,680,593 in 2020. At that time, it was the 24th-largest metropolitan area in the United States and the sixth-largest metropolitan area in the Southern United States.
The fountain at Lake Eola is the symbol of the city of Orlando, also known as “”The City Beautiful.”” The city proper was home to a population of 307,573 (according to figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2020).
