Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and some nights and weekends for event

The role you'll contribute:
The Member Services and Sales Lead coordinates corporate and community outreach efforts to facilitate corporate memberships and alliances and build relationships within our community. Engages in the activities of internal and external membership sales, as well as the front desk, caf and proshop to ensure that optimum efficiency and customer service is provided to members and guests. Also sells memberships to individuals, families and corporations and represents the AdventHealth at community events, civic organizations, etc. Builds and retains relationships with existing members and clients in an effort to assist with stabilizing membership base and improving retention. Works collaboratively with Leadership, Marketing team, and Member Services team to create a sales and marketing strategy for the promotion of services in the community, to corporations and to physicians. Establishes, enhances and maintains corporate partnerships. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Support the sales of our retail services, GolfPFX, SportsPFX, RunPFX, Massage, Motion Lab, etc.
Pursues new relationships, and contacts potential clients/members via cold and warm calls, at events and conferences, and through community connections and networking functions, i.e., Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, etc. Works with local business managers, human resources/benefit managers at local businesses to inform them of the features and benefits of wellness center membership and services, and negotiates closure.
Develops strategy and material(s), in collaboration with Leadership, wellness center Marketing team for programs and presentations suited to prospective members/clients, and their organizations, in order to deliver maximum sales results. Presents product specifics and health and wellness information to small groups ranging from general public to local businesses, schools and civic organizations.
Participates in local events, health fairs, benefits fairs, etc., or may help coordinate other Member Service team to cover special events. Coordinates the transport and set up of display and presentation materials, handouts, and equipment. Attracts and presents to prospective clients/members in a way that honors the Mission of AdventHealth and our vision.
Encourages and helps train the member services team to perform inside sales by upselling products and services to established members/clients in a way that makes them feel comfortable, and better served by the experience. Overcomes objections and closes sales of products and services, such as, proshop inventory, personal training services, massage therapy, membership upgrades, Fitness Coaching sessions, and others.
Develops and implements a Member Services & Sales training program for new Member Services Representatives to create an engaged sales team for the purpose of prospecting, upselling, member retention and engagement, optimizing the new member experience and creating a strong team of competent Member Services Representatives who provide the highest level of customer service and competency.
Oversees general front desk procedures and tracks Member Services Representatives End Of Shift financial reports, processes membership changes and payroll deduction reports while improving forms and processes, as necessary, to ensure the highest standard of customer service.
Provides monthly KPI, membership and sales reports to Leadership to include number of current memberships, growth data, prospects and number of new members from corporate and community outreach efforts.
When not involved with specific corporate and community outreach efforts, performs all duties and job responsibilities assigned to Member Services Representative.
Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School graduate
Two years of experience in sales and customer service
Basic Life Support - CPR Cer
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sports Or Rehab Therapy
Five years high end sales experience
- Experience as an Athlete or Athletic setting
